Brigid's Table celebrates its 20 year anniversary in 2007. Brigid's Table is a lay led, hot meal program provided by parish volunteers, and volunteers from neighbor churches, Montavilla United Methodist, Holy Cross Lutheran, and students from Multnomah Bible College.
Our primary outreach ministry is named for St. Brigid of Kildare, a fifth century Irish Celtic saint who founded a religious community known for their wisdom and compassion, hospitality and healing. The overriding philosophy of Brigid's Table is to treat our guests in the same way we would treat guests in our own homes.
We offer a hot meal every Saturday at 9:30am from September through June. Brigid's Table serves about 150 meals per month to people struggling with poverty and homelessness.
In the months of July and August Brigid's Table is on hiatus except for an outdoor barbeque held on the 3rd Wednesday of each month.
If you have questions about this ministry please contact the church office for more information.
