Christian formation has been a hallmark of the parish's life for many years. We are always looking for new and creative ways to teach the Christ who is "the same yesterday, today, and forever."

Ongoing Programs:

  • Adult Education - On select Sundays, there will be a briefer-than-usual sermon in order to allow for an Adult Education presentation at the 9:30 AM Service. The presentations will offer teaching regarding our core beliefs, our Anglo-Catholic worship and customs, and the basic practice of Christian life. For any who wish, the conversations may continue after the service at the coffee hour.

  • Bible Study - Thursdays 10:30 AM
Study of the upcoming Sunday's lectionary.

Special Offerings

  • Lenten formation is offered each year which may consist of Bible study, exploration of the Pilgrim Way, the parish prototype Rule of life or a selected book study.

  • "Emerging Church" Learning Party. The ecumenical “emerging church” movement sometimes self-described as a “new approach to ancient faith”, has energized young adults to seek and live a committed faith-life. A day long presentation of ideas, approaches, music, and worship to inspire existing congregations and help plant new ones.

  • Via Media - The parish has sponsored 4 presentations of this 8-week series, the most recent offering in Lent 2007. The sessions include DVD presentations, written materials, small group discussion, and a large group forum. Participants encounter the basic principles of Christianity through the Anglican approach of Scripture, Tradition, and Reason.
